This role serves as the product expert and technical bridge between engineering, quality, marketing, and sales—ensuring that product knowledge, specifications, and positioning are clearly translated into market-ready tools and messaging. Manages data, analytics, reporting, and product data integrity across categories. Focused on tactical execution, test prototypes and validate assumptions.

The Product Specialist reports to the Marketing Manager and works closely with the Marketing Specialist to support go-to-market execution on NPIs, while partnering with product and sales teams to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness in how Morning Pride shows up in the field.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Expertise & Support

  • Develop deep knowledge of Morning Pride’s firefighting gear, features, performance claims, and competitive positioning.
  • Serve as a go-to resource for internal teams on product specifications, applications, and differentiation.
  • Support product management with product updates, line reviews, and portfolio communication.

Product Content & Technical Accuracy

  • Own accuracy of product content across catalogs, cut sheets, websites, and sales materials.
  • Translate technical product details into clear, compelling, and usable content for marketing and sale.
  • Ensure consistency of product messaging across all channels and materials.

Sales Enablement & Field Support

  • Partner with sales teams to support product training, FAQs, and customer-facing materials.
  • Help develop comparison tools, spec sheets, and application guides to aid in selling.
  • Provide input on customer feedback, field insights, and competitive gaps.

New Product Launch Support

  • Assist in execution of new product introductions, ensuring readiness across materials and internal teams.
  • Coordinate with marketing to ensure launch content is accurate, compelling, and aligned with positioning.
  • Support internal rollout (training, materials, documentation).

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with engineering, and marketing teams to ensure alignment.
  • Support trade shows and customer events with product knowledge, demonstrations, and messaging support.
  • Help ensure product claims are supported and clearly communicated.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in product support, product marketing, or technical marketing role
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or B2B environments
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to manage technical information accurately
  • Strong communication skills—able to simplify complex product details
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities

Preferred

  • Experience in fire safety, PPE, or related industries
  • Background working with product specifications, compliance, or technical documentation
  • Experience supporting sales teams or customer-facing organizations
  • Familiarity with PIM systems, catalogs, or product data management tools
