Summary
To provide physical labor for the production of light industrial assembly jobs utilizing hand assembly skills and methods obtained through training.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform direct production, quality control and material handling functions of specific contract job assigned.
- Operate small machinery and tools utilized on assembly jobs.
- Maintains personal production time sheet, on a daily basis, measuring hours worked, position and product produced.
- Maintain quality of task assigned.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Comply with all Agency policies, procedures and safety standards throughout work areas and maintain same to meet CARF, HIPAA, Department of Labor and other regulatory standards.

Education Requirements
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred but not required.
Experience Requirements
Experience in production or assembly preferred but not required.

- Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.

- Ability to produce accurate counts, tabulate and write these counts on report forms.
- Ability to produce minimum daily output.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to read or understand safety features/instructions.

- Must be able to follow through with projects in a timely manner.
