We are seeking a High School General Education Spanish Teacher for a full-time, 1.0 FTE school-based position in Wayne County, Michigan. The teacher will provide engaging Spanish language instruction and help students strengthen their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver Spanish language instruction aligned with school curriculum.
  • Teach speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary.
  • Create lessons and activities appropriate for different student ability levels.
  • Assess student learning and provide timely feedback.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
  • Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment.
  • Keep accurate grades, attendance, and student records.
  • Communicate with families and school staff regarding student progress when needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel.
  • Participate in staff meetings and required school activities.
