Closing Floater Teacher – Early Childhood Education
Location: The Learning Experience – Dedham, MA
Pay: $22–$23 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM–6:00 PM

Afternoon Floater Teacher

The Learning Experience – Dedham is looking for a dependable Closing Floater Teacher to provide afternoon classroom support across our Infant, Toddler, and Preschool programs. This role is perfect for an educator who enjoys variety and helping classrooms finish the day successfully.

What You'll Do

  • Support Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms during the afternoon

  • Help maintain appropriate teacher-to-child ratios

  • Assist with snack, playground time, classroom activities, and dismissal

  • Help prepare classrooms for the following day

  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment

  • Follow Massachusetts EEC licensing requirements

Qualifications

  • Massachusetts EEC Infant/Toddler and Preschool Teacher Certification required

  • Previous childcare or preschool experience preferred

  • Flexible, dependable, and team-oriented

  • Strong communication skills
