Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a Line Cook. Must be experienced in Food Safety requirements, Cashier duties, Catering. Reports to the Director of Food Services.

What You'll Do
- Assist the nursing staff in the responsibility for day-to-day processing of new admissions
- Prepares assigned food items by following recipes and portion control guidelines
- Prepares ingredients for daily menu offerings
- Prepares vegetables by washing, chopping, grating and slicing them for inclusion in side dishes, salads, soups and appetizers
- Maintains clean sanitary conditions in immediate work area.
- Makes sure that all dishes, pots and pans, and cooking equipment are left clean at the end of shift
- Organizes, sanitizes and cleans the kitchen, storage areas and coolers including floors
- Attends to customers’ request, Serves food, Packages food for clients, Accepts paymentsÂ
What You Need
- Current CPR Certification or must be obtained
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training or must be obtainedÂ
- Valid Florida Driver’s LicenseÂ
- Be at least 21 years of age to drive company vehicles, if required
- High School or GED Diploma
- 2-year experience as a Line Cook
- Preparation in a food service setting preferredÂ
- Ability to prepare high-end institutional cooking and catering, experience requiredÂ
- Current CPR Certification or must be obtained
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Training or must be obtainedÂ
- Food Handler’s Certification or must be obtained
- Valid Florida Driver’s LicenseÂ
- Be at least 21 years of age to drive company vehicles, if required
