What You'll Do
- Perform collection duties for all assigned Private Duty accounts.
- Expedite billing corrections to the appropriate team members.
- Follow up on unpaid claims to confirm they are on file and being adjudicated.
- Notify branch offices of any needed changes to patient accounts or plans.
- Monitor aged private duty accounts receivable and take appropriate collection action, escalating issues to the Senior Director as needed.
- Review collection reports with the Senior Director as requested.
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
- Make collections calls in line with company guidelines.
- Follow up and collect on balances deemed patient or client responsibility.
- Take on other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of collections experience preferred.
- Private Duty collections experience is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- A positive, proactive team player.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with AlayaCare software is a plus.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position. Occasional extended hours or weekend work may be required. You should be comfortable with the physical demands of a typical remote desk role - sitting, standing, and light movement - and able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds. Workplace accommodations may be available based on medical recommendations, where they do not create a hardship for the company.
