Role Description

The Safety Program Specialist is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Austin, Texas area. This role is responsible for implementing, supporting, and maintaining safety programs at the assigned project site, ensuring compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.


The Safety Program Specialist works closely with project teams, supervisors, contractors, and leadership to identify potential hazards, recommend and implement corrective actions, and promote a strong, proactive safety culture throughout the job site.

Daily responsibilities include conducting safety audits and inspections, leading toolbox talks and safety meetings, providing safety training, preparing reports, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing guidance on incident prevention and safety best practices.


This position requires a strong on-site presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build effective working relationships with both field personnel and leadership. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an active construction or industrial environment.


Compensation is based on certifications, qualifications, and relevant experience. Medical insurance is provided for safety team members.
