Purpose/Objective of the Role:Â
The Psychology is seeking a reliable, friendly, and organized student worker to assist with front desk operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain professional experience in a dynamic academic environment. As a front desk assistant, you will be the first point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, students, and faculty in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Handle routine clerical tasks such as filing, copying, scanning, and data entry.
- Assist with event planning and coordination, including preparing materials and setting up rooms.
- Pick up and distribute mail and run errands as needed.
- Support departmental projects and perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Help with social media.

Qualifications:
- Must be a current student, preferably enrolled in the Psychology program.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Previous office or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
