About the Job:
The Seagate Golf Club is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Membership Experience Manager to foster meaningful connections and enhance the overall member and guest experience. This pivotal role is responsible for creating and implementing programs, activities, and initiatives that strengthen member involvement, satisfaction, and retention. The Manager will be a key ambassador for promoting the club’s culture and community, supporting membership processes, and collaborating closely with the VP of Membership Sales and Development.
What you do:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute the Seagate Members comprehensive annual programming calendar, including a robust schedule of events, holidays, and monthly activities for members and guests.
- Collaborate with the VP of Membership Sales and Development on the planning and execution of the monthly activity schedule, coordinating with operating departments (Spa, Culinary, Golf, Racquets, Fitness, Beach Club, etc) to ensure a robust and timely daily schedule of classes and activities.
- Support the planning and development of the annual special events and holiday calendar.
- Coordinate across all departments to ensure the seamless delivery and execution of all special events for guests and members.
- Create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) for all events and resumes for larger events and holidays, ensuring clear and timely communication across all properties.
- Manage the ticketing process for all events and coordinate efficient guest/member check-in procedures.
- Maintain accurate financial and program records related to Member activities and events.
- Plan and attend member events to build relationships and ensure a high-quality experience.
- Engage with individual club members as needed to instill confidence and encourage club membership promotion.
- Support membership processes and collaborate closely with the VP of Membership Sales and Development.
- Develop and ensure consistent adherence to procedures for processing prospective member applications.
- Plan and implement strategies to achieve club membership goals.
- Build rapport with membership directors and key contacts at other local country clubs.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, exhibiting high energy and a positive attitude.
- Stay well-organized, service-oriented, and adept at multitasking, adapting to constant changes with flexibility and resilience.
- Establish rapport with diverse personality types.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and other basic internet and computer skills proficiently.
- Perform other duties as necessary to support the Membership Department and overall club operations.
What you bring to the Table:
- Minimum of two years of prior experience in a country club or hotel environment, with high-end customer service experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute events.
- Strong organizational, communication, presentation, documentation, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
- Creative and innovative thinker with the ability to adapt strategies as needed.
- Must have strong time management skills, be extremely well organized, and able to work well under deadlines and independently.
- Basic marketing design knowledge (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during club tours and events.
- Capable of lifting and carrying marketing materials and equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for club events and meetings.
- Ability to work in a variety of conditions.
