ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

General description of main/primary duties and responsibilities of the job, aptitude, level of complexity, span of control, autonomy, decision making and judgement. It is central and necessary to the satisfactory performance of the job. Includes the following and other duties as assigned.

Under general supervision, this position will:

  • Provide day-to-day user support for corporate systems, including troubleshooting issues, responding to user inquiries, and ensuring timely resolution of requests.
  • Troubleshoot and escalate application issues maintaining clear and accurate documentation.
  • Support user acceptance testing and assist with configuration changes and enhancement requests.
  • Gather and document business requirements and assist with process analysis, and system improvement efforts.
  • Develop and maintain process flows, procedures, and system support documentation.
  • Collaborate with users, vendors, and IT teams to support system enhancements.
  • Support daily operational activities, including data validation, and control compliance.
  • Assist in analyzing business problems and support delivery of system-based solutions.
  • Participate in system upgrades, assist with project activity, and deliverable tracking.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Experience, Licensure (minimum level required)

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Field of Study: Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.


CORE COMPETENCIES

List and describe the required factors (i.e. knowledge, skills, abilities, software programs), that are needed for this role.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and an interest in developing technical and functional knowledge of business processes.
  • Basic understanding of application support, incident management, testing, and documentation practices.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, organization, and attention to detail, with the ability to escalate issues appropriately.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business users, and technical teams through both written and verbal interactions.
  • Proven capability to produce accurate support documentation, process flows, test results, while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Competence in prioritizing assigned tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and follow established processes to meet deadline.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Functions as an individual contributor with no supervisory responsibilities.

Office Related:

  • Job is primarily performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires regular use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.


HOURS / SHIFTS

  • Regular business hours.
  • Available for on-call rotation and responsibilities on weekends and holidays for urgent issues or emergencies during off hours, as needed.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Minimally lift, push, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Minimally be able to bend, stoop, crouch, etc.


TRAVEL

Approximate amount of time.

  • Minimal travel may be required to other locations.
  • Approximate overnight travel is 5%.
