The Opportunity: 

  • Join an Agile program delivering GEOINT capabilities to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) as a hands-on security professional. 

  • Help keep mission systems secure and compliant across the full development and deployment lifecycle. 

  • Work alongside developers, platform engineers, and Government security stakeholders in a fast-moving environment. 

  • Directly support the security posture of systems that enable intelligence analysis and mission execution. 

This position is contingent upon contract award 
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Support Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities including security control implementation, assessment, and continuous monitoring. 

  • Conduct vulnerability scanning and analysis using tools such as ACAS/Nessus; track remediation through POA&Ms. 

  • Apply and validate DISA STIG hardening across applications, operating systems, and infrastructure components. 

  • Develop and maintain security documentation supporting Authorization to Operate (ATO) packages. 

  • Coordinate with development teams to integrate security requirements into design and delivery. 

  • Monitor security posture and report findings, risks, and metrics to program and Government stakeholders. 

  • Support incident response, audit, and inspection activities as required. 

 
Qualifications: 
Required: 

  • TS/SCI Security Clearance with ability to obtain Polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (equivalent experience accepted). 

  • 4+ years of information security or information assurance experience. 

  • Working knowledge of RMF and NIST SP 800-53 security controls. 

  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning and STIG compliance tools. 

  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent). 

  • Strong documentation and communication skills.  

Desired: 

  • Experience with eMASS, Xacta, or similar A&A management tools. 

  • Familiarity with container and cloud security practices. 

  • Experience operating within SAFe or Agile delivery frameworks.
