Main responsibilities:
The Plant Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the safe, efficient, and profitable performance of the plant while delivering quality products and developing a high-performing team.Â
This position is located in Denver, CO.Â
- Lead and manage all plant operations to ensure safe, efficient, and productive manufacturing performance aligned with company objectives.
- Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and lead high-performing teams by fostering employee engagement, accountability, collaboration, and professional development.
- Ensure product quality and food safety compliance by maintaining rigorous quality standards and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Oversee resource utilization and production plans to maximize efficiency, meet customer demand, and minimize waste.
- Promote a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with safety policies, conducting audits, and driving proactive risk management.
- Manage plant financial performance through budget oversight, cost-control initiatives, and efficient allocation of resources.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Logistics, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to achieve operational goals.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, productivity, cost, service, and employee engagement.
- Provide strategic leadership and problem-solving to address operational challenges, support business growth, and drive sustainable results. Â

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
All other duties as assigned. We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:
- 7 to 10 years of increasing levels of responsibility in a manufacturing environment.
- 3 plus years’ experience with implementing Lean Manufacturing Principles.
- Strong leadership background – ability to direct a diverse unionized workforce.
- Financial/budget management experience.
- Capital project development, cost estimation, and management skills.
- Proven negotiation, management, interpersonal, coaching, and team building skills.
- Managing for Results/ Development skills
- Production Engineering knowledge.
- Ability to interface with regulatory agencies.
- Exceptional verbal/written communication.
- Ability to manage and develop employees.
- Strong skills Working knowledge of MS applications including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, - PowerPoint and ability to grasp additional business-related applications.Â
