Your Contribution

Drive strategic transformation across Project Development by leading critical programs, enabling AI and digital innovation, and ensuring clear alignment between business priorities, leadership teams, and project outcomes. Your work will help improve organizational effectiveness, strengthen decision-making, and advance Newmont's Project Development strategy.

As Part of Our Team, You Will
  • Lead and coordinate strategic Project Development initiatives, tracking progress and reporting outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Champion AI, digital, and process improvement solutions that enhance efficiency and business performance.
  • Connect people, information, and resources to drive special projects and transformational programs.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies that strengthen understanding of Project Development priorities across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, briefings, and reports that translate complex information into clear business insights.
  • Partner closely with the EVP, Project Development, to plan and facilitate leadership engagements and strategic meetings.
  • Oversee program governance, milestone tracking, issue resolution, and delivery of transformation initiatives.
  • Identify project and organizational risks, implement mitigation strategies, and monitor emerging issues.
  • Build strong relationships across Project Development, Communications, Digital, and other key business functions.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and safety.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
  • Proven experience leading strategic programs, transformation initiatives, or portfolio management within a complex organization.
  • Demonstrated success driving digital, AI, data, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong executive communication skills with experience preparing leadership-level reporting and presentations.
  • Knowledge of capital project environments, project development processes, or stage-gate delivery frameworks.
  • Expertise in program governance, performance tracking, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to identify risks, solve complex problems, and drive outcomes across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong influencing, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning, feedback, safety, and inclusive teamwork.
Your Work Environment
  • Partner with senior leaders across Project Development and Corporate functions to deliver strategic business outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Project Leadership Team, Communications, Digital, and Project Services teams.
  • Operate in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment focused on transformation, innovation, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Engage with stakeholders across multiple functions and levels of the business to align priorities and achieve results.

Work Environment, Pay & Benefits:

 
This position is based in our Denver, CO corporate headquarters, with flexibility for hybrid work. The base salary range is $86,500–$115,300 (reflecting  market rates and your qualifications). The final base pay offer will be based on individual factors such as your experience, and skills – we do not ask for or use your prior pay in setting your compensation. You will also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company and personal performance. Newmont provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, health savings/reimbursement accounts, 401(k), pension, paid time off, and family leave.
