Staffing Type: Full Time Employee

Location and Travel: This role offers flexibility with the option to work hybrid in either Minneapolis or Denver. Some travel is required.

As a ServiceNow Solution Architect specializing in Technology & Security, you will join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, dedicated to helping clients solve complex issues and achieve exceptional results. You are a self-driven professional who excels at leading successful implementations and maximizing the value of the ServiceNow platform. In this critical role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, Security Operations (SecOps), and Integrated Risk Management (IRM). Core IT workflows are the foundation, but your versatility across security-aligned products — security incident response, vulnerability management, and governance, risk, and compliance — is what sets you apart. You will leverage your deep understanding of ServiceNow functionality and best practices to help clients connect IT operations, security, and risk on a single platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, solution design, execution, and deployment of ServiceNow technical and consulting services across ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, and IRM.
  • Architect CMDB and CSDM foundations, Discovery, and Service Mapping strategies that underpin both IT and security use cases.
  • Design Security Operations solutions, including Security Incident Response (SIR) and Vulnerability Response (VR), with integrations to SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability scanning, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Design IRM solutions, including Policy and Compliance Management, Risk Management, and continuous monitoring, aligned to client control frameworks.
  • Partner with IT, security, and risk/compliance stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Provide thought leadership on connecting IT operations, security operations, and risk management on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Lead the development of repeatable solutions and accelerators targeted at technology and security use cases that can be scaled across clients.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, including providing day-to-day direction.
  • Ensure best practices and standards are followed in the development and deployment of ServiceNow solutions.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and ensure the quality of deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations.
  • Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and industry trends.
  • Support the interview, selection, and management of contractors, vendors, and development talent.
  • Support pre-sales efforts through scoping, pricing, and demonstrations as appropriate.

Experience:

  • 5+ ServiceNow Deployments
  • 3+ ITSM or ITOM deployments; at least one SecOps (SIR, VR) or IRM/GRC delivery strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the ServiceNow ecosystem (Partner or Direct ServiceNow)
  • 7+ years of experience in technology
  • Extensive experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and ServiceNow NowCreate methodology.
  • Industry experience in Energy & Utilities, Healthcare, or Manufacturing is a plus.

Skills:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
  • At least one Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification required, in either a core technology area (CIS–ITSM, CIS–ITOM) or a security-aligned product area such as Security Incident Response (SIR), Vulnerability Response (VR), Risk and Compliance (R&C), or equivalent; one in each area strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of security and risk frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2) and ITIL is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to executives (verbal and written).
  • Proven ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Comfort with handling ambiguity and managing multiple assignments.
  • Proven skills in identifying client challenges and proposing solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively expand professional networks through strategic relationship building and engagement.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
