Sovereign Consulting Inc., an award-winning environmental consulting and remediation firm headquartered in Robbinsville, NJ, is seeking a GIT / Geologist / Environmental Scientist with 0 to 5 years of experience for the Denville, NJ Office.
Responsibilities:
- Groundwater, soil, surface water, and vapor intrusion sampling
- Monitoring well, soil boring and log preparation
- Preparation of analytical data tables
- Report preparation
- Proposal preparation
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment
Requirements:
- 0-5 years of experience with a geology or environmental science background
- Experience with NJDEP regulations, guidance documents, and field stamping procedures
- OSHA 40-hourHAZWOPER Certification, current 8-hour refresher and/or Supervisor Certification a plus
- Demonstrated technical writing skills
- Clean Driving Record
- Occasional Overnight Travel
- Must have excellent communication, analytical, field sampling skills
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
Employment at Sovereign is contingent upon the results of a Drug & Alcohol screening test and a pre-placement medical evaluation that determines candidate’s ability to capably and safely perform the proposed job duties. Salary will be commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications.
