Position Summary 


The Marketing Specialist is an integral member of the Business Development and Marketing team, providing support across content marketing, business development initiatives, digital platforms, CRM systems, research, social media, and practice group marketing efforts. This role collaborates closely with attorneys and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality, timely, and strategic marketing communications that support firm growth and visibility.

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support across all aspects of the firm’s marketing and business development initiatives. 
  • Assist with the development and execution of the firm’s content strategy, including contributions to RFPs, pitches, presentations, and other marketing and business development materials. 
  • Utilize persuasive writing skills and innovative approaches to develop and enhance marketing content. 
  • Play a key role in CRM activities, including managing and maintaining client data, list management, tracking, and user training. 
  • Collaborate with practice groups and key stakeholders to develop timely, relevant, and engaging content such as blogs, white papers, speaking materials, practice web pages, and related collateral. 
  • Support digital marketing efforts, including website and intranet content, webinar programming, social media, and performance analytics. 
  • Work closely with the Business Development and Marketing team on events, sponsorships, public relations, branding initiatives, memberships, and external partnerships. 
  • Conduct market research, competitive intelligence gathering, and analysis to support strategic positioning efforts. 
  • Attend internal and external meetings as requested. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications Required:


  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with strong editing and proofreading abilities
  • Advanced marketing knowledge with the ability to apply best practices in a professional services environment
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time-management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high level of attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, leadership, and staff across the firm
  • Proficiency with CRM and CMS platforms
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Creative, innovative thinker with the ability to generate new ideas and approaches
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing competing deadlines 

 

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required, emphasis in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field preferred
  • 1-4 years of experience in a content-driven marketing or business development role within a professional services environment
  • Law firm experience preferred but not required
  • Experience working with CRM and content management systems strongly preferred
