At St. Catherine Hospital – Dodge City, our Emergency Department has 8 beds including 2 trauma ready beds and our team cares for patients of all ages, from infant to end of life. Our patient population includes many industrial, farming and motor vehicle accidents. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our RN Clinical Coordinator, you will actively support the department director/manager by coordinating clinical and department activities for the unit, serving as a vital clinical resource and professional role model.

Every day you will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, ensure high-quality care delivery, act as a crucial link between physicians and the patient care team, authorize work procedures, assign duties, manage as shift charge, and actively take patient assignments based on unit needs and acuity, all while promoting patient well-being and adhering to professional standards.

- Assesses patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data. Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome.
- Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provides leadership, support, and coordination of unit’s daily operations during designated shift.
- Assists in directing, organizing, and prioritizing all shift activities ensuring patient care and staff needs are met.
- Ensures appropriateness of admissions/cases to the unit/department and that appropriate staff skill mix exists to provide safe patient care.
- Liaison to the multidisciplinary patient care team.
We are offering a $10,000 sign on in addition to up to $8,000 relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Job Requirements
Required
- Associates Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
- Active and unencumbered RN License in state of employment
- BLS from the American Heart AssociationÂ
- ACLS from the American Heart AssociationÂ
- NIHSSÂ
- ENPC or PALS
- One year RN ED experienceÂ
- TNCC within one year of hire
- Physical Requirements:Â Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10lbs. constantly
Preferred
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- CEN
