CompQsoft is seeking a Network Engineer (Intermediate) to 聽join our DISA program team in Fort Meade, MD. This is an exciting key position providing Gateway Engineering Support which provides 聽end-to-end engineering solutions for DISN projects.聽
The Gateway projects includes, all variants of DoD Enterprise Classified 聽Travel Kit (DECTK) gateways, Senior National Leadership Communications 聽(SNLC), Internet 聽and cloud gateways, customer interface gateways, and Satellite Communications 聽Gateways. The engineer must have a high 聽level of knowledge and experience in the current and planned gateways in the 聽DISN core and DISN customer gateways including unclassified and classified voice, 聽video, data, endpoints, and encryption devices.
As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for 聽engineering, testing, implementing, and providing Tier III support for all 聽Gateway initiatives ensuring mission success.
Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):聽
路 Design, build, test, implement and maintain 聽Gateway engineering solutions
路 Design engineering enhancements and develop 聽engineering change requests
路 Analyze existing and planned gateway solutions and 聽architectures and make recommendations
路 Configure Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, 聽voice gateways, unified communication managers
路 Utilize advance security devices including High 聽Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor (HAIPE), crypto ignition keys and 聽SIPRNet hard tokens
路 Apply system patches, security patches and third-party 聽updates in order to maintain systems at a high level of performance, availability, 聽and security.聽
路 Write test plans, conduct testing, and deliver 聽test reports
路 Develop detailed implementation plans, 聽configuration guides and other technical documentation
路 Deliver timely resolution and document 聽troubleshooting procedures in order to mitigate impact of issues and improve 聽infrastructure performance
路 Perform incident response tasks and services 聽restoration
路 Provide engineering support to mitigate IA 聽findings聽
路 Provide support to the Automation Team
路 Provide on-call Tier III support as needed.
Experience/Qualifications:聽
路 DoD and/or Government program experience 聽preferred; DISA experience a plus
路 Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Computer Science or a 聽related field
路 5+ years IP network design experience to 聽include Routing/Switching, IPSEC VPNs, Firewalls
路 testing/troubleshooting network traffic
路 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools; 聽specifically, PowerPoint, Word & Excel
路 Excellent communication, effective leadership, 聽and interpersonal skills
