Job Description Summary
The Non-Invasive EKG Cardiology Tech contributes to the efficient operation of the Non-Invasive Cardiology department while promoting the philosophy of SEH to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care.
Job Description
Essential Functions
- Performs EKGs;
- Applies Holter Monitors to patients;
- Assists in management of finalized Holter Monitor reports and importing them into Epic;
- Maintains stock on EKG machines throughout the hospital;
- Assists in the management of EKGs within Muse & Epic.

Qualifications
Minimum Experience Required
- Successfully complete and pass EKG recognition test.
Minimum Experience Preferred

Minimum Education Required
- High School graduate or equivalent;
- BCLS certification required.

Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing;
- Ability to communicate effectively in an emergency situation;
- Basic typing and computer skills.
