About the Job
We currently have an exciting opportunity for Sr. Demand Planner to join our Planning Team. This individual will collaborate with multiple partners including Merchandising, Planning, Global Sourcing, Distribution Centers along with our vendor partners.
 
What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
 
·      Manage & adjust the basic replenishment forecast across multiple channels/locations at the item and higher level. Rolling 52-week forecasts.
·      Provide accurate order forecasts for our internal & external partners to minimize excess inventory of fabric, trim and finished goods.
·      Build and maintain weekly inventory forecast for vendor shelf stocks.
·      Own monthly Forecast review meeting with all business partners and key vendors.
·      Fine tune the forecast by utilizing statistical analysis & algorithms to increase accuracy.
·      Identify risks & opportunities within a brand and/or geographic location hierarchy.
·      Partner with the Merchant & Planner to maintain assortment integrity and alignment with the financial OTB requirements.
·      Execute quarterly SKU rationalization reviews. Maintain an equal voice in the product assortment & planning process.
·      Approve basic replenishment purchase orders. 
·      Work with Supply Chain team to optimize timing, order flow and inventory levels. Maximize cash flow and inventory turnover. 
·      Maintain in-stock rates and minimize lost sales.


What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or another related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Demand Planning
  • 12+ years of experience in a planning role preferred
  • Retail Apparel experience with Direct Sourced products preferred
  • Sound analytical, financial, strategic, and problem-solving skills
  • Extremely detail oriented and willing to analyze down to the lowest level
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including extremely strong ability in Microsoft Excel
  • Microstrategy reporting ability preferred
  • Blue Yonder EP Planning and Invent Analytics Replenishment proficiency a plus
  • Ability to build partnerships, manage teams, and work closely with a diverse group of people

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment
  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, in a hybrid work arrangement from our Dublin, California office location.

The starting salary for this position is $133,494 – $178,000. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. Over time, and subject to performance, tenure, and evolving responsibilities, total compensation for this role may grow to as much as $200,000.  Other compensation may include a 15% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
