Title: Food Service Worker - Connections North Dunkirk NY
Grade: E2 Exempt Non-Exempt
$ 16.53 per hour 35 hours/week
Reports to: Child Health Services Manager
Basic Function or Position Summary:
Responsible for assisting other kitchen staff by performing other food preparation and service tasks, including serving, dishwashing and completing daily paperwork. Maintains high standards of quality in food production, sanitation and kitchen safety practices.

Position Responsibilities and Specific Duties:
- Prepare quality food according to a planned menu
- Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, and peeling food items; proper use of equipment and knives
- Adhere to all safety regulations for handling, temperature and storage of food
- Meal service
- Serve food according to meal schedules
- Prepare and deliver food carts to classrooms.
- Transport food and supplies to off-site locations.
- Cleans and sanitizes work areas, floors, equipment, utensils and dishes
- Maintain garbage collection in a neat and sanitary fashion
- Assists with stocking food and supply deliveries.
- Assists with completion of daily record keeping including food and storage temperatures, inventory and usage.
- Promotes agency mission.
- Maintains confidentiality and complies with the code of ethics.
- Maintains consistent professional customer service.
- Job performance incorporates integrated service delivery model while promoting self-sufficiency.
- Other duties as designated by supervisor
