This position is offered in partnership with Choctaw Nation 477 Employment & Training Services (ETS) through its On-the-Job Training (OJT) program. The selected candidate will be employed and trained by 360 Broadband while receiving hands-on experience in the role. Participation is subject to 477 ETS program eligibility requirements.
360 Broadband is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team in Durant, Oklahoma.

In this role, you’ll install, maintain, and troubleshoot the equipment that delivers reliable internet service to our customers. You’ll work with both fiber and wireless technology, interact directly with customers, and develop valuable technical skills along the way.
*Previous telecommunications experience is a plus, but we’re also interested in mechanically and technically inclined candidates who are eager to learn.

What You’ll Do
As a Field Service Technician your day may include:
- Installing and repairing residential and business internet services
- Installing fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) and wireless equipment
- Troubleshooting internet and connectivity issues
- Installing fiber optic cable and microduct
- Splicing and testing fiber using equipment such as OTDRs and power meters
- Operating light construction equipment when needed
- Towing and maneuvering equipment trailers
- Working outdoors in a variety of weather and terrain
- Communicating with customers and helping them understand their service and equipment
- Responding to service issues as part of an on-call rotation
- Following company safety and installation standards

Who We’re Looking For

- Are comfortable working outdoors and performing physical work
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Are dependable and willing to learn new technology
- Have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Can lift up to 50 pounds

- 4-5 years telecommunications experience
- Fiber optic installation
- Fiber splicing
- OTDR and optical power meter testing
- Wireless internet equipment
- Network troubleshooting
- Underground utilities

- Trailer towing
