Overview

The RiverWoods Group is currently looking for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to come and join our team! The ideal candidate will bring excellent customer service skills, maturity, strong critical thinking skills, is a problem solver and can work independently. Responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer service with a positive attitude and commitment to teamwork while meeting the needs of residents and staff.
  • Review census events on the Point Click Care Dashboard on a daily basis to ensure they are accurate.
  • Enter/Update recurring resident charges as they occur.
  • Set up new residents in Point Click Care and in TransactCare.
  • Create bills in Point Click Care monthly and review preliminary statements for accuracy and completeness.
  • Check TransactCare the next day to ensure all statements are in the resident bill pay portal.
  • Create PDF file of resident statements for residents who are identified as needing a hard copy statement and send to designated staff in each community.
  • Hold regularly scheduled monthly meetings in communities to provide opportunities for residents to meet in person and ask questions.
  • Open & sort checks for deposit.
  • Maintain accurate records for resident files, deposits, and canceled checks.
  • Provide general ledger support and reconciliation as needed for Accounts Receivable.
  • Assist in the preparation of schedules for the yearly audit by a public accounting firm.
  • Provide administrative support to Finance Department.
  • Support Accounts Receivable Manager in other duties as needed.

Qualifications

 

Experience in accounts receivable, customer service, or working in an office setting is preferred.

Basic knowledge  of Email, word processing and spreadsheet software is required.

 

High School Diploma required.

Prefer two-year associate degree in accounting or business administration (or equivalent work experience)
