SUMMARYÂ Overview of the position
The inventory clerk will work with the Inventory Specialist to perform the general tasks of cycle counts and inventory needs of the warehouse.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESÂ The following statements are intended to describe the general nature of the level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this job. Other duties may be assigned.
- Receive and inventory received items.
- Updating inventory count and maintaining records to share with team.
- Helping the Inventory Specialist with cycle counts of the warehouse inventory.
- Help warehouse clerks build pallets and prepare packages for shipping.Â
- Help process daily orders as needed.
- Review daily missed orders.
INTERACTION
The inventory clerk will work with the Inventory specialist but will also be given assignments by the warehouse supervisor. They will also have to work with the warehouse clerks when it comes to store inventory.
EDUCATION/YEARS EXPEREINCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with a sitting forklift & standing forklift is a plus.
- 1+ years’ experience in Inventory.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Forklift experience
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Good communication skills. Will be communicating with the Inventory specialist, warehouse supervisor, and warehouse clerks.
- Positive attitude.
- Knowledge of cycle count and physical inventory count programs.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and ability to learn JD Edwards One World
