Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregivers to provide dedicated in-home support for a male client located in Dyer, IN. If you are passionate about one-on-one patient care and want to work with a highly supportive team, we’d love to meet you!
Schedule & Availability
We are looking to fill consistent, daily shifts to ensure complete coverage 7 days a week. Candidates can apply for morning shifts, evening shifts, or both:
- Morning Shift: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Safely perform Hoyer lift transfers and support mobility adjustments.
- Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Maintain a clean and safe home environment (light housekeeping, laundry, dishes).
- Provide dedicated companionship and social engagement.
- Provide timely medication reminders.
- Observe, document, and report any changes in the client’s condition.
- Use our mobile app for clocking in/out and logging daily care notes.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with Hoyer lift transfers is strictly required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ year of experience in home care or a similar caregiving role preferred.
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance.
- Must pass a national background check and a TB test. CPR.
- Dependable, professional, and empathetic demeanor.
