Summary: The Menus & Tags Coordinator supports the accurate and timely availability of monthly menus, meal-related reports. This employee handles printing daily meal tags and reports to internal teams, assessing and sending third-party delivery orders.

 Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  1. Monthly Menus
  • Maintain details of all menus needed for each month, discontinue unused menus, and add new menus as needed.
  • Keep menu connections of clients’ accounts on the CKC website and other records accurate and up to date.
  • Furnish monthly menus, food production reports, nutrition files and other documents related to this process, based on the preset rotation before the onset of each month, ensuring timely availability to clients.
  • Maintain the naming convention for menus for efficient organization and retrieval of menus.
  • Identify potential delays in the monthly menu creation process and communicate with other departments to ensure timely planning.
  • Handle unavoidable last-minute changes in menus and communicate these changes to corresponding departments and/or clients.
  • Maintain a list of clients who need special reports for menus and provide the reports timely.
  • Communicate meal-substitute information to clients as needed and provide carb counts and nutritional information based on the changes.
  1. Daily Tags Printing
  • Print, arrange, and hand over daily tags, checklists, and related reports to the Prep team accurately and on time, following the set instruction format.
  • Change the format of reports/tags as needed to accommodate logistical changes.
  • Update printed or yet-to-be-printed documents in case of last-minute changes.
  1. Third-Party Vendor Coordination
  • Determine the program’s pizza needs (or other food needs from third-party vendors) if specified by the menu and coordinate related information from clients.
  • Update pizza grid/third-party order grids based on clients’ needs and create pizza calendars to be sent monthly to the pizza vendor.
  1. General
  • Communicate effectively with customers and staff using a calm and respectful approach.
  • Meet deadlines, prioritize company assignments, and maintain professional composure under pressure and dynamic conditions.
  • Maintain high level of accuracy in data usage related to menu/recipe and tagging portions.
  • Perform other related duties and complete special projects as assigned.


Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: Two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience in data handling or math related field is necessary. Knowledge of databases and logical analytical skills is preferred. Prior knowledge in Food industry is preferred.

Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, operating instructions, and manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. Excellent customer service support. Ability to work in a team environment.

Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic addition, subtraction, division, and some algebra. Attention to detail and accuracy is key.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to analyze using logical reasoning skills.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer operating skills and Microsoft office products along with accurate data/database handling skills and logical analytical skills.
