About The Bureau

The Bureau produces fashion week across three global markets — New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, and Los Angeles Fashion Week. Hundreds of designers per season. 12,000–15,000+ guests in the room and millions more watching digitally. Our mission: open the global runway to the talent and brands shaping what's next.

We're headquartered in the Greenville, SC area and work primarily in person — speed comes from being in the room. This is not a spectator job. We're in hyper-growth, we sell tickets year-round, and we're hiring the team behind every show.

The Role

We have the audience, the data, and the sending infrastructure. What we don't have is you.

You'll own email and SMS as revenue channels — end to end. The calendar, the segments, the copy, the automations, the results. Six launch cycles a year across three markets, plus evergreen ticket sales, waitlists, post-purchase upsells, and re-engagement. Every week that a send doesn't go out is revenue left on the table; your job is to make sure that never happens.

You'll work inside a modern, custom-built stack: our own CRM with rich contact properties, behavioral analytics on every page, and AI agents that handle 1:1 conversations. You run the programs — broadcast and triggered — and orchestrate around the automation, not against it.

What You'll Own

The revenue calendar

  • Plan and execute the year-round email + SMS calendar across all three markets: launches, on-sales, price-tier deadlines, event countdowns, recaps
  • Own the number: revenue per send, per flow, per season

Launch campaigns

  • Ticket on-sales for New York, Paris, and Los Angeles — plus marquee events like The Rose Ball
  • Multi-touch launch sequences: announce → early access → urgency → last call

Triggered & automated flows

  • Abandoned checkout and quiz follow-up sequences
  • Waitlist nurture (capture → warm → convert when tickets drop)
  • Post-purchase journeys: upgrade paths (GA → VIP), after-party cross-sells, know-before-you-go
  • Post-event recap → next-season re-engagement
  • Win-back campaigns for past attendees and cold leads

Segmentation & data

  • Build segments from contact properties and behavioral data (pages read, quizzes taken, purchase history)
  • Define lifecycle stages and sunset policies; keep lists healthy and deliverability strong
  • Report on channel performance and feed learnings back into strategy

Channel stewardship

  • Own deliverability: domain reputation, warmup, list hygiene
  • Own SMS compliance: consent, quiet hours, opt-out handling (TCPA)
  • Hold the brand voice — editorial and confident, never promo-spam

Collaboration

  • Brief our Graphic Designer for campaign creative; you own copy and structure
  • Coordinate with social so every launch tells one story across channels
  • Hand conversational replies to our AI concierge — your blasts start conversations; the AI closes them

Who You Are

  • 4+ years in lifecycle/CRM/retention marketing for a consumer brand — events, ticketing, fashion, hospitality, or e-commerce preferred
  • You can show the receipts. Flows you built, the revenue they drove, and the tests that got them there — not just pretty screenshots
  • Segmentation-first. You think in audiences and triggers, not batch-and-blast
  • A genuinely good copywriter. Subject lines that get opened, SMS that gets replies, in a voice that reads editorial — not discount-brand
  • Technically fluent. Comfortable with ESP/SMS platforms, basic HTML email, UTM discipline, and pulling your own numbers from analytics. SQL a plus
  • Deliverability- and compliance-literate. You know what wrecks a sending domain and what wrecks a company in a TCPA suit
  • A self-directed operator. You'll get strategy sign-off monthly and own execution completely. If you need a brief for every send, this isn't your role
  • Comfortable working alongside AI. Our AI agents handle 1:1 conversations; you'll design programs that hand off to them cleanly

Nice to Have

  • Ticketing, live events, or drop-based/launch-based sales experience
  • Experience with custom or headless CRM/ESP stacks
  • Basic SQL or analytics-tool fluency
  • Loyalty, referral, or VIP program experience

Why This Role

  • Full ownership of two revenue channels with infrastructure already built and an audience already captured
  • Six launches a year — you'll compress a decade of launch reps into two seasons
  • Direct line to leadership — no layers between your plan and the send button
  • Hyper-growth company: new markets, rapid promotions, room to build the lifecycle team under you

Logistics

  • Based in the Greenville, SC area — primarily in person
  • Occasional travel to show markets during event weeks
  • Salary commensurate with experience + benefits
