Job Title: I&C Manager
- Full-time leadership position
- $120,000–$150,000 base + 15% STIP
- Leads the I&C team, working closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Area Managers

About the Role
We're looking for an experienced I&C leader to own instrumentation and controls for the plant — leading a team of technicians and support staff to keep systems running reliably through smart maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and mentor the I&C team
- Oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of electrical, process control, and automation systems (DCS/PLC — Rockwell, Allen Bradley, Modicon, Bailey Infi-90)
- Keep steam, electrical, boiler, and environmental systems running reliably
- Partner with Area Managers, Operations, and Union teams on daily work and special projects
- Manage instrumentation calibration schedules and spare parts planning
- Champion a safe, compliant work environment
- Support budgeting and use plant data (eDNA/Pi historians) to guide decisions
Requirements
- 5–10 years in I&C, including supervisory/leadership experience
- Background in Industrial Energy, Power Generation, or Utility settings
- Hands-on PLC/DCS expertise (Rockwell, Allen Bradley, Modicon; ControlLogix, Bailey Infi-90)
- Strong grasp of field instrumentation (VFDs, PID controllers, transmitters, sensors)
- Sharp troubleshooting skills — electrical, electronic, and pneumatic controls
- Familiarity with steam turbines, boilers, and water treatment systems
- CMMS experience (Maximo or similar)
- Able to work in an industrial plant setting (climbing, lifting up to 80 lbs, confined spaces)
