Job Title: Lead Direct Support Professional – $500 Sign-on Bonus - 
Hourly Rate: $18.25
Shifts Needed: Full time: Days-M-F 9am-3pm
Location: East Grand Forks/Crookston, MN

Direct Support Professionals help individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health needs, and medical needs live safe, independent, and meaningful lives. In this role, you’ll support daily living skills, personal care, hygiene, meals, medication assistance, community access, social skills, housekeeping, safety, and recreation. You’ll follow support plans, document daily progress, and use behavioral and crisis-prevention strategies as trained. Success in this position requires dependable communication, teamwork, problem-solving, confidentiality, and the ability to learn required procedures and regulations.

The Lead DSP is responsible for providing direct services to clients through implementation of designated plans, policies, and procedures. The Lead DSP assists, counsels, and trains consumers in self-help and daily living skills while promoting independence, dignity, and choice. The Lead DSP remains available to work hours dictated by the client’s needs and works closely with the Program Manager and District Manager to support the daily operations of the home.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • CPR/First Aid (provided)

      • Works primarily in the program location, with occasional outdoor/community activities

      • Drivers License
      • Frequent sitting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
