Core Skills • Clinical Skills: Taking vital signs Performing Point-of-Care Testing Performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and other diagnostic tests Assisting with minor procedures Ensuring infection control and safety protocols • Administrative Skills: Scheduling patient appointments and managing calendars Maintaining patient records and documentation Processing insurance claims and verifying patient eligibility Coordinating referrals and pre-authorizations Handling medical inventory  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and active listening skills Empathy and ability to provide compassionate patient care Teamwork and collaboration with healthcare providers Ability to handle stressful situations professionally Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times   3.
