Description

Coordinates scheduling and staffing to ensure sufficient staff coverage for all shifts with home health patients. Works with clinical and administrative departments to project staffing needs and achieve required staffing levels.

Job Duties

  • Understand and adhere to established Impact Home Health policies and procedures
  • Work with other members of the human resources department to determine which positions need to be filled so the organization’s staffing requirements are met
  • Social Media Recruiting
  • Assist with conducting orientations, monitor work performance, discipline, and placement of agency employees
  • Document home health employee messages where applicable
  • Maintain accurate records relating to all staffing needs
  • Build and maintain relationships with caregivers
  • Build and maintain relationships with all patients
  • Fill patient staffing needs
  • Complete patient caregiving schedules
  • Participate in activities, trainings, Town Halls, and continuous education of caregivers

Requirements

Education

Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience

1-3 years of experience in scheduling, healthcare setting preferred

  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Well-developed verbal, listening, and written communications skills
  • Ability to work independently or as a team player
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and manner
