Job DetailsJob Location: EASTON FAMILY YMCA - EASTON, MD 21601Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $15.00 - $15.00 HourlyJob Shift: DayJob Category: WellnessPOSITION SUMMARY: Assist in wellness programs, including coordinating programs, fitness assessments, personal training assignments, equipment orientations, member orientation and special events. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:    Orients new wellness staff and provides guidance and clarification of work duties and assignments. Ensure cleanliness of fitness center through daily cleaning checklist and equipment maintenance plan. Instructs members and participants on safe exercise techniques including but not limited to warm-up and stretching progression, aerobic conditioning, strength training, proper use of center equipment and workout routine.   QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years of age or older. High school graduate or equivalent required. YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification within 90 days of hire  PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to perform all physical aspects of the position, including walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting.
