POSITION SUMMARY:
The Occupational Therapist demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to determine a plan of care based on assessments and observations. This includes the use of standardized and non-standardized tests and measurements to identify and define the deficiency(ies) and opportunities for improved function. The individual demonstrates knowledge of the physiological, cognitive, psychosocial, sensory, and other aspects of performance in a variety of contexts to support engagement in everyday life activities that affect health, well-being, and quality of life. The individual must demonstrate the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess requirements relative to his/her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in ECRMC’s policies and procedures.
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree from a school of occupational therapy
- Licensed Occupational Therapist by the State of California
- BLS (American Heart Association)
