Job Summary: The Site Turnaround Coordinator is responsible for the full lifecycle of all planned and unplanned shutdowns (Turnarounds, Outages, and Emergency Shutdowns) at the site and will assist the Turnaround Manager in the complex sitewide event that occurs every 3-4 years. This includes planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout activities across multiple production units. The Site Turnaround Coordinator will work closely with the Maintenance Manager, Reliability Engineering, Operations, and Capital Projects teams to identify critical equipment, mitigate business risks, and ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective event execution following the Turnaround Standard. Primary Responsibilities Include: Turnaround Management On site turnaround resource responsible for adherence to the LSB Turnaround Standard by driving the processes and behaviors. Serve as the single point of accountability for all minor Turnaround events (scope, schedule, budget, safety). Event Scope Owner - Coordinate scope development workshops, ensures scope tracker updates/integrity, event code, parent work orders, AWS coordinator. Manage multi-discipline teams across planning, scheduling, cost control, procurement, and operations. Contract resources should be vetted and allocated for during each budgetary cycle. Ensure robust post-event closeout, including punch list resolution, documentation, cost reconciliation, and lessons learned. Planning & Scheduling Single point of contact for planning groups. Ensures adherence to planning KPI’s. Spot checks on work packages to compare status in scope document Grouping notifications together that can be planned and worked as a single order that optimizes utilization of resources Checking for understanding of scope through work order description and field walk through with Operations when not clear MyTrack authorizer for planning/scheduling groups Enters Requisitions to obtain POs for any turnaround needs Lead development of integrated turnaround schedules using either Microsoft Projects or Primavera P6. Work directly with Turnaround Master Scheduler for major events. Validate manpower loading, contractor availability, and execution sequencing. Cost and Procurement Work with the Cost Controller on funding verification of event budgets with contingency in alignment with the LSB Turnaround Standard. Manhours updated in scope document Updating procurement tracker for contract services Assist the Cost Controller in tracking and managing cost-to-date vs. forecast during event execution. Engagement with Procurement to ensure contractor strategy, material readiness, and vendor support are aligned with event needs. Review post-event financials for variance analysis and continuous improvement. Leadership and Communication Chair regular Turnaround Core Team meetings at the cadence established by the LSB Turnaround Standard and provide regular status updates for the site Steering Team. Participate in Executive discussions as required by the Turnaround Director. Serve as liaison between Operations, Maintenance, Capital Projects, and EHS. Drive clear communication of expectations, timelines, and deliverables across all levels of the organization. Foster a culture of safety, ownership, and continuous improvement during all Turnaround phases and events. QualificationsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, turnaround management, or project coordination Deep knowledge of ammonia and urea process facilities and equipment (e.g., reformers, compressors, reactors, etc) High regard for safety and regulatory compliance Experience with CMMS systems such as JD Edwards (preferred), SAP, Maximo, etc. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively partner with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Accounting, and project leadership. Strong leadership, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced industrial environment Special Attention: This position is safety and security sensitive in nature. This position deals with hazardous materials and/or industrial processes that can pose a risk to employees and the general public.
