Supervises and executes day-to-day order engineering and improves end-to-end performance within theĀ ETOĀ supply chainĀ for a team of project engineers.Ā Ā Manages the delivery ofĀ switchgearĀ designs, BOMs & drawings forĀ SwitchgearĀ product.Ā Ā DelegatesĀ work assignmentsĀ andĀ managesĀ load/capacity of the department.Ā ActsĀ asĀ aĀ technical reference point among teammates.Ā ProvidesĀ engineering support for supply chain functions.Ā Ā CreatesĀ opportunities to reduceĀ end to endĀ complexity using design for manufacturing principles.Ā Ā LeveragesĀ componentĀ reuse and design modularity to improve supply chain and quality performance.Ā Ā CollaboratesĀ withĀ local and remoteĀ teammates toĀ developĀ and enhance best practices.Ā Ā Requires work schedule flexibility supporting production during the week, weekends, and across shifts.Ā ActsĀ as key contact for criticalĀ commercial and project management conversations.Ā OwnsĀ and developsĀ methods to ensure process continuity, revision control, and process life cycle management. Lead team continuous improvementĀ initiatesĀ by hosting Kaizen events.Ā
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Ā
- LeadsĀ weekly progress meetings.Ā
- Communicate andĀ demonstrateĀ benefitsĀ of design for manufacturing, late adaptation, modular and universal design principles.Ā
- Develop Documents and work aids toĀ facilitateĀ team training.Ā
- Use power distribution and product knowledge to develop solutions to customer requests.Ā
- IdentifyĀ and implement opportunities to improve supply chain performance.Ā Ā Increase universal designs and reduce total unique parts.Ā
- Work directly with Manufacturing associates toĀ solicitĀ feedback on improvements in design.Ā
- CollaborateĀ acrossĀ engineering, manufacturing, quality, planning, materialsĀ & project managementĀ personnel to meet program goals.Ā
- UnderstandĀ and useĀ KaizenĀ methodologyĀ for continuous improvement of design activity.Ā
- WorkĀ in a manufacturing environment.Ā Ā

REQUIREMENTS:Ā
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Power Engineering degreeĀ
- 4+ yrs. experience with low voltage switchboard and/or switchgear design, installation, and use.Ā
&Ā 1+ yrs. experience withĀ SEEĀ Electrical drawing software.Ā
- 4+ yrs. experience working in manufacturing.Ā Ā
- Experience with PLC programming, Modbus and TCP/IP communications, EthernetĀ interfaces.Ā
- Experience with Modified Differential Ground fault systems.Ā
- Crosstrain with basic Mechanical Engineering.Ā
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.Ā Ā
- Experience withĀ designingĀ and modelingĀ parts and assemblies given basic conceptual information.Ā
- Strong problem solving,Ā interpersonalĀ and customerĀ relationĀ skills.Ā
- MustĀ be self-motivated and proactive.Ā
- Ability to interact with engineering, supply chain,Ā and manufacturing personnel.Ā
- Must be able to effectivelyĀ utilizeĀ time toĀ maintainĀ taskĀ schedules.Ā
- Available for travelĀ up toĀ 5%.Ā

For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD 101,600 - USD 152,400 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
