RESPONSIBILITYĀ (Equipment or Process, Material or Product, Safety of Others, Work of Others)Ā

- Responsible for the continuous supply of materials to one or more production or assemblyĀ areasĀ
- Responsible for ākittingā materials on the production line to ensure all parts of orderĀ requiredĀ are at point of origination to keep line moving at steady paceĀ
- Responsible for picking parts from Kanban or storage areas and placing the parts into aĀ storage bin (kit)Ā
- Ensures correct parts are kept in theĀ appropriate quantitiesĀ to support production andĀ assembly requirementsĀ
- May take parts from inventory area and ensures Water Spider is kept stocked atĀ appropriate levelsĀ of inventoryĀ
- Performs repetitive material supply functions following detailed work direction andĀ guidelinesĀ
- MayĀ operateĀ forklift truck or hand truck for delivery or picking of parts and suppliesĀ
- Sorts and counts parts and supplies and logs inventoryĀ
- Inspects parts for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifiesĀ supervisor and/orĀ purchasingĀ personnelĀ
- May trace or track lost parts and suppliesĀ
- MayĀ maintainĀ department database, prepare routine reports, and fileĀ KitterĀ recordsĀ
- Follows established departmental policies, procedures, andĀ objectives, continuous qualityĀ improvementĀ objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standardsĀ
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotesĀ continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practicesĀ
- Document material movement using computer tabletsĀ
- Establishes andĀ maintainsĀ a safe andĀ healthfulĀ working environmentĀ in accordance withĀ OSHA requirementsĀ
- Performs other tasks as may be requested to assure the effective andĀ continuousĀ utilizationĀ of assetsĀ

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation rate is $17.00 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and may also include premium pay or differentials, depending on location. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
