Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Lobby Host in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for tenants, visitors, and vendors. You will manage access, greet and direct guests, monitor security-related activities, and respond to inquiries with exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $20.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and customer service expectations.
• Greet tenants, visitors, vendors, and contractors; verify authorization and direct individuals according to established access-control and visitor-management procedures.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, cameras, alarms, and communication systems; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, tenant requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notification protocols.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, package or delivery records, and other required documentation while providing clear communication to building management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
