Are you an experienced dental assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves helping patients feel comfortable, and takes pride in exceptional care? We’re looking for an amazing LEAD Endodontic Dental Assistant to join our growing specialty practice!
At Sacramento Valley Dental Specialists, we believe great dentistry starts with a great team. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, team-oriented, and passionate about creating an outstanding patient experience. This position will split time between our two offices (Elk Grove on Laguna Springs Blvd & Sacramento on Fair Oaks Blvd/Howe Ave) as needed and will work 1-2 Saturdays a month.
What You’ll Do:
 ✨Assist the doctor during endodontic procedures, including root canals and retreatments
 ✨ Prepare treatment rooms and maintain sterilization standards
 ✨ Take high-quality radiographs and CBCT scans
 ✨ Support patients with compassion and reassurance throughout treatment
 ✨ Maintain accurate clinical records and charting
 ✨ Work collaboratively with a positive, high-performing team
 ✨ For the right candidate, opportunities for advancement and future promotion will be considered!

What We’re Looking For:
 ✔ Endodontic or specialty dental assisting experience required - 2+ years preferred
 ✔ Experience in assisting endodontists who are left-handed or right-handed
 ✔ Working at a fast-paced while maintaining a compassionate, professional work environment
 ✔ X-ray certification required
 ✔ Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills
 ✔ A calm, confident, and patient-centered attitude
 ✔ Someone who values teamwork, professionalism, and positivity
 ✔ Experience in assisting endodontists who are left-handed or right-handed
 ✔ Working at a fast-paced while maintaining a compassionate, professional work environment
 ✔ X-ray certification required
