About the Role:
Bruno's Pizza of Elkhart is looking for a passionate and skilled Pizza Maker to join their team in Elkhart, IN! If you love crafting delicious pies and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, this is the perfect opportunity to turn your love of pizza into a career.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and hand-toss pizza dough to order specifications
- Apply sauces, cheeses, and toppings accurately and consistently
- Operate commercial pizza ovens and monitor bake times and temperatures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
- Follow food safety and handling guidelines at all times
- Assist with prepping ingredients, including slicing, portioning, and stocking toppings
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a pizza kitchen or food service environment preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one
