DESCRIPCION DE TRABAJO
Resumen/Objetivo:
The Production Worker performs a variety of manufacturing and assembly tasks to support production operations. This position is responsible for safely operating equipment, assembling products, verifying quality standards, and maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure production goals are met efficiently and effectively.
Essential Functions
- Perform assembly, production, packaging, and material handling activities following work instructions and quality standards.
- Operate production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Inspect products and components to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate and timely production records and documentation.
- Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Assist with moving, storing, and preparing materials as needed.
- Work as part of a team to meet production schedules and departmental goals.
- Participate in continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.

Typical Responsabilities:
- Read and follow work orders, procedures, and specifications.
- Load, unload, and transport materials within production areas.
- Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment.
- Complete production documentation accurately and promptly.
- Participate in training and safety meetings.
- Assist with basic production troubleshooting.
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

Supervisor Responsabilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Enviroment:
This position is primarily performed in a manufacturing and production environment. Exposure to moving machinery, noise, temperature changes, dust, and production equipment may occur. The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, stretch, and perform repetitive hand movements.
- Frequent use of hands and arms to handle, assemble, or move materials.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to remain standing for extended periods throughout the work shift.
- Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to identify product defects.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Work schedules may vary based on production needs and may require overtime, weekend work, or additional hours as necessary.

Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or assembly experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
