Position: Compliance Inspector
Location: Elma, New York Duration: Minimum 3-month contract Frequency: 4 hrs - 2 days a weekĀ
Support is required for a UK Customer at their supplier in Buffalo, NY.
Ā
An Aerospace Quality Engineer or inspector with audit experience. Understanding/ Experience of:
- Measurement techniques
- Audit experience
- Shop floor control systems and route cards
- Must be from an Aerospace background, Engines experience advantageous
Ā
You will be in place at the Suppliers site to inspect all Customer-specified parts prior to shipment, completing a full visual inspection against customer's final specification.

Documentation check - Delivery Paperwork check prior to shipping, including concession numbers and correct categorisation against concession paperwork.
Ā
Ensure packaging is in accordance with SABRe PPL ( Protection, Packaging and Labelling) requirements
Ā
Ensure rejected parts are segregated and identified.
Ā
Log all inspection results into a portal on a daily basis.
Ā
Drive āopenā Quality Notifications to completion, working with the supplier to aid improvements and prevent re-occurrences.
