Press Machine Operator

Job DetailsJob Location: Architectural Arts North - Emmetsburg, IA 50537Salary Range: $18.00 - $23.00 HourlyJob Summary Operate the press machine and perform material handling functions.  Supervisory Responsibilities •    None Essential Functions •    Use the press machine to layout the laminate to the material. •    Operate a forklift to move materials through the warehouse, as needed. •    Report any defective materials or questionable conditions to the General Manager. •    Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. •    Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and safely.   •    Follow all prescribed safety regulations.   QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities  •    Knowledge of tooling materials •    Must be flexible with task assignments •    Maintain current Forklift Driver certification     •    Basic mechanical knowledge to make minor repairs, a plus •    Good mathematical skills Education and Experience •    High School Diploma or equivalency preferred. •    Previous woodworking experience preferred. Physical Requirements •    This position will regularly require the ability to sit, stand for long periods of time, bend, reach and lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
