ASRC Federal is looking for a Staff Engineer to join our team. We are a small to mid-size, multi-discipline architectural/engineering firm specializing in commercial-type infrastructure and facility design for the United States Air Force, serving specifically at Vance Air Force Base in Enid, Oklahoma.

We are seeking qualified applicants to meet the needs of Vance AFB Base Operations Support (BOS) Contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration across in-house engineering disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, architectural) and construction personnel.
  • Perform technical reviews of design and construction deliverables, ensuring strict compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
  • Gather and analyze data to prepare reports that would support decision making in various facets of a project or assigned task.
  • Develop and analyze detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Prepare cost estimates and schedule analysis. 
  • Assist in planning, coordinating and facilitating project meetings and site visits.
  • Assist in performing Quality Control (QC) oversight of field and programmatic activities.
  • Support construction administration during project execution including review of shop drawings, responding Requests for Information (RFIs) and coordinating with construction management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited University.
  • 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Adobe.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, due to contract requirements, with ability to pass a government background investigation.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Two years of work experience is preferred, but on the job training is available for recently graduated applicants.
  • Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is preferred.
