Virtual Mental Health Therapist (LICSW, LPC, LMFT)

Location: West Virginia
Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a West Virginia-licensed therapist to provide virtual mental health services to individuals through telehealth. This position involves working directly with clients, understanding their concerns, guiding therapy sessions, and helping them develop practical ways to manage challenges in their daily lives.

You’ll handle a consistent caseload, complete necessary clinical documentation, and use your professional experience to support clients throughout their treatment journey while working from a remote setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled therapy sessions with clients through a secure telehealth platform
  • Build rapport with clients and create a supportive environment for open conversations
  • Explore client concerns, personal history, and goals to guide treatment
  • Help clients address emotional challenges, behavioral concerns, relationships, and life transitions
  • Review client progress and adjust therapeutic approaches when appropriate
  • Complete session notes, assessments, and required documentation accurately
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
  • Active West Virginia LICSW, LPC, or LMFT license
  • Experience providing therapy or mental health counseling services
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • 2 weeks paid time off
