Yamaha is seeking to fill a Training Coordinator role for our facility in Marietta, GA. This position is responsible for interacting via phone and email with the dealers and internal staff as it relates to training. The position supports and assists both in the completion, tracking and reporting of training using our Learning Management System for both online and for instructor lead classes.
What you’ll be doing:Â
- Interact via phone and email with dealers and field staff to troubleshoot and analyze any issues or concerns they have as it relates to training and the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Run, edit, create and streamline reports from the LMS for the YMU manager, to monitor class registrations, dealer bLU PRINT compliance and occasionally for field staff as requested.
- Daily handling of account activations and deactivations within the LMS.
- Load and check functionality of YMU training modules, courses, and classes within the dealer Learning Management System (SumTotal LMS).
- ILT Class support including signing students in on the first day of start of class, diploma support and completion follow up within the LMS at the end of each ILT class.
- Work with communication dept to develop dealer training electronic communications and announcements for new classes and changes as necessary.
- Outbound calls to dealer network and field staff as it relates to training and class registrations.
- Handle mailings for YMU and Dealer Management department using FedEx.
- Performs other duties as required.Â
Competencies/ Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Good writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Good organizational and communication skills with a focus on customer service, attention to detail, and effective follow-up.
- Excellent time-management, organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
- Run reports and share with field staff as requested, necessary and appropriate.
What you need to be successful:Â
- High School Diploma/GED – Some College preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience helping clients and customers with problems over the phone while using a computer.
- Computer skill set to include MS Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Word).
- Previous LMS experience is a plus, but not required.
- Fundamental understanding of computer (PC) browsers and internet settings.
