Position Summary
The Operations Performance Data Specialist will be our eyes that keep our operations running smoothly and is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, preventing inventory shrinkage, and supporting a secure warehouse or retail environment. This role focuses on identifying discrepancies, monitoring inventory movement, and implementing best practices to reduce theft, errors, and waste while ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor live and recorded video feeds from warehouse, storage, and shipping areas to ensure inventory accuracy and security.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies between physical counts and system records using video evidence.
- Monitor inventory transactions, including receiving, storage, transfers, and shipments.
- Identify and report suspicious activity, inventory irregularities, or potential theft.
- Work with management to develop and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Conduct routine audits of inventory, storage areas, and documentation.
- Ensure all inventory movements are properly documented and authorized.
- Monitor compliance with company security policies and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in training employees on inventory handling, accountability, and loss prevention practices.
- Prepare reports on inventory accuracy, shrinkage, and loss prevention metrics.
- Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and operations teams to improve inventory accuracy and reduce losses.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
- Experience in security monitoring or related field.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or loss prevention.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions
- Work is performed in a warehouse, distribution center, or retail environment.
