Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Psychiatrist to join an outpatient behavioral health practice in Southern Connecticut.

This opportunity is ideal for a psychiatrist looking for a full-time outpatient role with strong clinical support, collaborative care, and long-term practice stability.

The incoming physician will provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, medication management, treatment planning, and ongoing outpatient psychiatric care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient psychiatric care
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide medication management
  • Collaborate with therapists, primary care physicians, APPs, and clinical staff
  • Coordinate care for behavioral health patients
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation
  • Support continued growth of outpatient behavioral health services


Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry
  • Active or eligible Connecticut medical license
  • Outpatient psychiatry experience preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and medication management skills
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
