Position Summary: 

The Director, Information Analysis, will be responsible for developing, implementing and automating models, and reporting through the data warehouse and business intelligence (BI) tools. The Director will be responsible for transforming data into information to validate assumptions, assess outputs and results, and drive change to increase efficiencies. This position will report to the Vice President, Artificial Intelligence & Information Analytics and have regular communications with Senior Executives to identify and prioritize projects. The Director will direct a portfolio of projects including maintaining alignment with the Company’s Strategic Business Plan, process improvement activities, and cross functional data/system management projects that align data and expected results. 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support growth by leading the strategic analysis of business opportunities, financial decisions, and company operations.
  • Set direction for development and automation of standard reporting, analysis, financial models and tools used to support decisions related to the Company.
  • Lead direction of models, tools, and reporting for analysis of the business by working with Senior Executives to create future vision of work. 
  • Develop reports though the data warehouse and BI tools on analysis results and present to the Executive Team.
  • Identify expected results from models and analytics to prioritize key initiatives, based on expected return. 
  • Help determine the Company’s financial and business analysis needs and facilitate the exchange of data with an emphasis on KPI’s.
  • Maintain liaison relationship with IS and Finance, and an understanding of data sources and databases used by the Company. 
  • Once processes are established, hire, train and manage a direct report team of 2-3 development analysts, to assign tasks, encourage teamwork, and evaluate work.
  • Adherence to ConServe’s Professional Practices Management System (PPMS), Code of Conduct, and Compliance Program
  • Support adoption of AI tools into information analytics workflows
     

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics or related discipline preferred


Skills/ Requirements:

  • Ten+ (10) years of experience in gathering requirements from Senior Executive teams for business analysis and management.
  • Ten+ (10) years of experience developing and managing decision support tools, models, and reports. 
  • Ten+ (10) years of experience with data warehouse and business intelligence tools. 
  • Five+ (5) years of leadership experience with proven ability to develop, train and manage staff and projects to “successful” implementation and completion. 
  • High aptitude for problem solving and analytical thinking. 
  • Highly organized, able to work independently, motivated to successfully meet deadlines, attention to detail and ability to multi-task. 
  • Ability to communicate and present to senior level of management including Directors, Vice Presidents and Executives. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical problems to non-technical audiences. 
  • Excellent working knowledge of application development experience within a Microsoft Office environment using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, VBA and SQL Server. 
  • Ability to travel between ConServe’s offices as needed.
  • Ability to travel to conferences and customer locations as needed. 
  • The ability to telework. A teleworker is defined as an employee who works for ConServe from a home, or other remote office, for all of the regularly scheduled work week. A teleworker uses telecommunication technologies, including, but not limited to, soft telephones, virtual facsimiles, computers, electronic mail, and remote Internet connections to access work remotely on a pre-determined basis 
  • A secure internet connection, to plug in ConServe equipment into a hardline Ethernet port
  • A private work area in which work activities can be conducted
  • U.S. Citizenship or lawful Permanent Resident alien with three or more years as a permanent resident in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance.
  • No conflicts of interest with ConServe or our Clients.
