Product Development & Sourcing Specialist

Location: Fall River, MA

About the Role

We're looking for a highly organized and proactive Product Development & Sourcing Specialist to help bring new products to market and drive the success of our growing product portfolio.

Reporting to the Director of Category & Product Management, you'll work closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to source new products, manage product launches, improve product performance, and identify growth opportunities within key categories.

If you enjoy managing projects, building supplier relationships, negotiating costs, and seeing products move from concept to customer, this may be the role for you.

What You'll Do

Source & Launch New Products

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers.
  • Manage RFQs, negotiate pricing, and analyze product costs.
  • Coordinate samples, testing, inspections, and compliance requirements.
  • Support product commercialization from concept through production.
  • Maintain project timelines and ensure launch readiness.

Drive Product Success

  • Monitor product performance, quality, margins, and customer feedback.
  • Partner with Product Development, Quality, Logistics, Procurement, and Marketing teams to resolve issues and improve products.
  • Support supplier performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Support Category Growth

  • Identify opportunities for product enhancements and line extensions.
  • Provide recommendations based on market trends, supplier capabilities, and product performance data.
  • Collaborate on product content, packaging, and customer-facing materials.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Product Development, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product sourcing, procurement, product development, or supply chain.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with international sourcing and supplier management.
  • Familiarity with landed cost analysis, tariffs, and import requirements.
  • ERP experience preferred.
