Schumann Printers in Fall River, Wisconsin is currently hiring an experienced Saddle Stitch Operator for our Finishing Department. We offer a competitive hourly wage of $20.00 – $27.00, paid on-the-job training, regular wage increases at performance milestones, and a climate-controlled work environment.

Job Overview

Position: Saddle Stitch Operator
Location: Fall River, WI (On-site)
Shift: Second Shift, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Includes shift premium)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, full-time (Overtime required as needed)
Salary: $20.00 – $27.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate high-speed saddle stitch and binding equipment.
Review job tickets and specifications to verify trim sizes, pocket layouts, and stitch placement.
Monitor line quality continuously, making mechanical adjustments to maintain strict production standards.
Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform routine preventative maintenance.
Direct pocket feeders and general laborers working on your assigned line.
Follow workplace safety procedures and keep a clean, organized work area.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Prior machine operation experience in commercial binding operations.
Equipment Knowledge: Preferred experience operating models such as SP-1000, Tempo, Primera MC, Primera Pro, ST-400, Publica Pro or similar.
Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting capabilities, and attention to visual detail.
